Walt Disney World

This past week Harrison took his first trip to Florida and Walt Disney World. Its hard to believe he has already been to 6 states before the age of 10 months! He did really really well on the plane rides, he was PERFECT on the way down and had just a few minutes of blood curling screaming on the way home :) This is a major improvement from the Texas trip just 3 months earlier.

Now onto the details of our trip...

We spent two days at the parks. The first day we went to the Magic Kingdom where Harrison had lunch with the Disney characters. His favorite was Winnie the Pooh. He kept touching his hand and nose and saying ooooohh!!! It was really cute. He also went on a few rides. His favorite was "Its a Small World After All" he would point and squeal at all of the dolls. The lady behind us said he had the biggest eyes she had ever seen while on the ride! The next day we went back to the Magic Kingdom, went on a few rides, and of course got Harrison his first Mickey Mouse ears with his name monogrammed on the back. My mom still has my first Mickey ears with my name mongrammed on the back too! Sticking with the tradition of things to do when going to Disney World, we also got Harrison's "profile cut out picture", its sooo adorable! That night we went to Epcot where we had dinner in "Morracco", it was wonderful! Harrison really liked the couscous!
After two days of Disney we relaxed at the hotel. Harrison went swimming in the pools and played in the dolphin fountain, which he loved! For dinner we went to the Grand Floridian Hotel and had a seafood. It was fabulous!!!! They had the most amazing crab cake encrusted halibut!!! I wished Pierce had been there, I think it would have been his ALL time favorite meal, since he LOVES both halibut and crab cakes!! Since it was our last night we went on the boardwork outside of our hotel and watched the fireworks from Epcot. I was a little worried Harrison would not like them, but he suprised me. His eyes were huge while he pointed at the fireworks and oohed and aahed. He was mesmorized by them!
All in all this was a wonderful trip that Bebe, Bachi, and I really enjoyed with Harrison. I can't wait for our next trip to Disney!! :) Oh, and the conference was great too!
